Mareena Reedy serves as the Secretary and Sponsorship Director of the South Florida First Responders Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring and supporting the brave men and women who serve our community. As one of the Foundation’s co-founders, Mareena has been instrumental in building its mission and vision, playing a key role in growing community partnerships and leading the Foundation’s sponsorship initiatives.
Born and raised in Pompano Beach, Mareena has deep roots in the community and a strong passion for supporting local first responders and their families. Her dedication to the Foundation reflects her belief that those who serve should always be supported, celebrated, and cared for. She has been a driving force behind the Foundation’s signature event, the Heroes Run, creating opportunities for the community to come together in gratitude and solidarity.
Outside of her leadership role, Mareena is a devoted daughter and dog mom, whose love for her family and pets grounds her work. She embraces all that South Florida has to offer—whether it’s fishing, diving, camping, or simply enjoying time by the water. Her personal connection to the region and its people fuels her commitment to building a stronger, healthier future for first responders and the families who stand beside them.
